Fundraising and Events Volunteer (Christmas Tree Collection)

Our Christmas Tree Collection is back for 2026/27 and we need your help to make it all possible!

We need a team of volunteers with large vans to pick up Christmas trees over the weekend of Friday 8th to Sunday 10th January.

This role involves driving to listed addresses, collecting the trees in your van, and then taking a full van load to a designated drop-off hub. You’ll be provided with a driving route, refreshments and lots of encouragement during a busy but fun weekend!

There must be at least two people in each van, so that there is a driver and a navigator/tree collector. If you're applying as an individual with a van, don't worry - we can organise for a member of our staff and volunteer team to join you.

Please note – we are unable to provide compensation for fuel used.

Areas covered are: BS1 (workplaces only) BS3 BS4 BS5 BS6 BS7 BS8 BS9 BS10 BS15 BS16 BS20 BS21 BS30 BS41 9 (Long Ashton) BS48 1,2,3 & 4 (Nailsea and Backwell) BS30

This collection takes a large team effort. ** So if you're a workplace with a fleet of vans who could offer some corporate volunteering hours, an individual with a van who'd like to help, or a wonderful volunteer without a van but who would like to help at the drop off points or going along in a van with someone else - we want to hear from you!**
